Collided with schooner COURTRIGHT off Waukegan, IL, Lake Michigan, October 1, 1858, bound for Chicago with coal. Loss to ST. PAUL, $1000; to COURTRIGHT, $2000.
Disposition Missed harbor entrance during gale, October 20, 1905, making for Ludington, MI, and stranded about one-third mile south of piers, about 1500 feet from shore. Crew of six rescued by U.S. Life Saving crew from Ludington. Vessel bound from Cecil Bay for Milwaukee with wood.
