Rebuilds Repowered in 1955 (7918 gross - 5903 net). Tonnage change, March/April, 1971 (7918 gross - 5879 net). Received new pilothouse and 100 H.P. Bird-Johnson bow thruster at Bay Shipbuilding Co., Sturgeon Bay, WI; winter, 1970-1971.
History As PONTIAC: Suffered damaged bow when wind caused vessel to collide with lock in Niagara River, July 18, 1963.Discovered to have a cracked bow plate on April 23, 1976, while on Lake Superior en route from Two Harbors, MN, to Cleveland with a load of taconite, escorted by Coast Guard cutter WOODRUSH. Repaired at Fraser Shipyard, Superior, WI.
Disposition Sold through Marine Salvage, Ltd., Port Colborne, Ont., to Spanish shipbreakers. Arrived in tow, San Esteban de Pravia, June 24, 1985, for scrapping.
