Rebuilds Hull stripped and engine placed in propeller LAKETON at Port Colborne, Ont., 1946. Hull towed to Midland, Ont., rebuilt by Midland Shipyards, Ltd., and converted to propelled hopper barge.
History Commissioned on May 26, 1942.Passed down, Port Colborne, May 19, 1942, on way to coast.
Sank Italian submarine TRITONE, January 19, 1943, off Bougie, Algeria. Paid off at Sorel, Que., July 11, 1945. Laid up at
Humberstone, Ont., along with corvettes SMITH FALLS, PARRY SOUND, and DUNDAS, after sale to Scott Misener, in November 1945.
After conversion to self-propelled hopper barge and with diesel engine, passed down, Detroit, July 18, 1948, bound for France. Was built as Revised \"Flower\" class corvette.
Disposition Ultimate disposition unknown.
