History Acquired by U.S. Navy from Maritime Commission on November 4, 1942. Placed in service on November 10, 1942, proceeding to Boston, MA, via St. Lawrence River. Then placed in service with 7th Naval District, in harbor and towing duties along coast of Florida. In 1944 transferred to 13th Naval District, via Panama Canal. From March, 1946 to July 25, 1947, in retirement with 19th Pacific Reserve Fleet. Placed back in service with 13th Naval District until transferred to U.S. Army at Seattle, WA, on June 13, 1950. Struck from List of Service Craft on September 26, 1950.
