As OREFAX: Lost pilothouse and radio equipment in 60 m.p.h. gale on Lake Michigan, April 30, 1963. Three men injured and taken off at Ludington, MI; vessel en route for Chicago.Ran aground just above DeRottenburg Island, St. Lawrence River, September 22, 1970. Released September 25, with load of potash, and taken to Canadian Vickers, Ltd., Montreal, for repairs. |
