Rebuilds Received bow thruster, Fraser-Nelson Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Co., Superior, WI, in fall, 1962. Hatches opened and hull trunked open for Toledo-Detroit winter coal run, by G & W Welding Co., Cleveland, OH, in fall, 1962 (6014 gross - 4633 net).
History As STADACONA: In collision in fog, May 30, 1917, in Duluth Harbor, MN, with steamer WILPEN.
Disposition Sold for use as dock face at River Rouge, MI, in summer, 1972. Passed downbound, Detroit for Hamilton, Ontario, August 27, 1973, in tow of tugs TABOGA and BARBARA ANN, to United Steel & Metal, Ltd. Resold to Spanish shipbreakers; arrived in tow at Santander, Spain, January 11, 1974, for scrapping.
