Vessel History

Rebuilds Cut in half and rolled on side for transit through St. Lawrence canals in winter, 1918-1919, by Lake Shipbuilding Co., Buffalo, NY. Prior to being joined at Montreal, W.W. I ended; two sections returned to Ashtabula, OH, where vessel was rejoined and lengthened by Great Lakes Engineering Works, in 1919 (542.33 x 50.16 x 28.58; 6874 gross - 5288 net). (See Memo)
History Rebuilds: (cont.) Canadian measures, 1936 (542.25 x 50 x 28.66; 6922 gross - 5271 registered). Received new engine in 1956 (6943 gross - 5168 registered).
Disposition Sold to Steel Factors, Ltd., Montreal, P.Q., in July, 1968. Resold to Spanish shipbreakers and arrived in tandem tow with steamer BRICOLDOC at Santander, Spain, September 13, 1968, for scrapping.
