History Vessel seized for a debt ($67.82) by Wickes Brothers, of Saginaw, MI, in April, 1868.Vessel originally was to be named \"Timber Trader,\" but was changed shortly before launching.
Disposition Stranded and sank in thirty feet of water off Long Point, Ontario, Lake Erie, on September 24, 1883; no lives lost. Was out of Escanaba, MI, with a cargo of iron ore. Final enrollment surrendered on June 20, 1884, as \"vessel wrecked and a total loss.\"
