| History | Departed Lakes in November, 1963, under Panamanian flag, for Baltimore, MD. Departed Houston, TX, in February, 1964, with grain for Pakistan. Suffered engine trouble in Atlantic gale and towed to Ceuta, Spanish Morocco from Bermuda. Refueled and had maintenance at Aden, May 19, 1964; cleared for Cochin, India, on June 3. Put into Gulf of Aden for protection from monsoons. Towed from there to Chittagong, Pakistan, clearing on August 15, 1964, by Dutch tug MISSISSIPPI. Laid up at Chittagong in September, 1964. Sold in 1965 to Mohamadi Re-rolling Mills, Ltd., for scrapping. |
