As third barge in tow of propeller MAINE, following URANUS and F.M. KNAPP, was sunk in collision with steamer OGDENSBURG, July 30, 1910, about 3 miles below Bar Point, Lake Erie; 3 lives lost. Vessel was bound from Sandusky for Port Huron with coal. Wreck removed by Canadians on August 28, 1910. |
