Built as T2-SE-A1 class tanker under U.S. Maritime Administration contract.As LEON FALK, JR: Struck lock wall in St. Lawrence Seaway on July 25, 1976, causing $80,000 damage.
As LEON FALK, JR: Suffered a small fire ignited by a welder's torch on January 16, 1980. The minimal damage was limited to rubber tires, mooring lines in the storage room, and the outside shell plate, which firefighters had to cut through to get to the fire. |
