Rebuilds Canadian measures, 1954 (174.42 x 36.42 x 19.25; 861 gross - 549 registered). Tonnage change, 1970 (785 gross).
History Built as net tender for U.S. Navy. Reclassified on June 2, 1944; assigned to Pacific Fleet. From February 20-28, 1945, tended nets during invasion of Iwo Jima. From March 26-August 5, 1945, took part in invasion of Okinawa; assisted in shooting down several Japanese planes and seriously damaged a suicide motor boat. Decommissioned on March 1, 1946; transferred to U.S. Maritime Commission on May 7, 1947.Sold in July, 1954, to Canadian West Coast interests; crew from British Columbia took her from Great Lakes to Vancouver.
