Vessel History

Rebuilds Tonnage change, 1915 (3522 gross - 2178 net). Reportedly converted to derrick barge, 1936, by Toledo Ship Building Co.
History Vessel was driven ashore ten miles west of Long Point, Ontario, Lake Erie, on November 14, 1933; gotten off and declared a constructive total loss. Apparently reduced to a derrick barge for use by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers about 1936 at Toledo. In August, 1938, vessel was back at Toledo for repairs after working on the breakwall at Conneaut, OH, all spring. Reportedly taken to New Orleans, LA, about 1943 and scrapped in about 1947. As derrickboat WILTON, there appears to be no official record.
Disposition Believed scrapped, possibly in New Orleans, LA, in about 1947.
