History First enrollment issued at Cleveland, OH, May 4, 1837.At time of loss, was engaged in towing on Niagara River, between Tonawanda and Buffalo.
In collision with steamer CINCINNATI off Huron, OH, Lake Erie, while bound east, May 12, 1837, doing considerable damage to starboard wheel housing of CINCINNATI.
Driven ashore in blizzard and gale, April 23, 1838, on Horseshoe Reef, Long Point, Lake Erie; released and arrived at Cleveland, OH, on May 7, 1838.
In collision, June 15, 1847, with propeller PRINCETON, off Conneaut, OH, Lake Erie, smashing guards.
In collision, July 19, 1847, with steamer GENERAL SCOTT, while entering Sandusky, OH; minimal damage.
Broke shaft, running between Cleveland and Buffalo, in August, 1847.
In collision with brig FASHION off Madison Dock, OH, Lake Erie, on June 1846, stoving in bow and part of larboard wheelhousing. Cabin on upper deck also ripped off.
Disposition Burned to water's edge at dock, Tonawanda, NY, September 2, 1851.
