Detroit in 1945, and converted to museum on Belle Isle, in
1946.
As CHARLES F. GORDON: Ran aground on Key Sal, Bahamas, on
March 12, 1923, running light from Neuvitas, Cuba, for Turks
Island. Salvaged by wrecking steamer SALVOR, owned by J.O.
Webster.
As J.O. WEBSTER: Grounded on Norwalk Island, CT, in 1935.
Disposition Converted to a land-locked museum on Belle Isle, Detroit, MI, 1946. After deteriorating, burned in 1956 and replaced by new museum building.
