- History: Commissioned on July 16, 1955.
As TROISDOC: Broke tailshaft off Whitefish Point, Lake Superior, in gale on about December 8, 1973; was towed to Goderich for unloading by tug THUNDER CAPE, then to Collingwood for repairs.
Suffered extensive fire damage to upper aft section of crew's quarters at Collingwood Shipyards on January 10, 1974.
Holed self in bow on April 26, 1978, when struck tie-up wall above Lock 2, Welland Canal. Repairs included renewal of some bow plates, rudder and gyro-compass repairs, and some structural work.
Grounded in West Neebish Channel, December 7, 1978; proceeded to Collingwood with tug escort after being freed, reportedly taking some water.
- Disposition: Foundered five miles northeast of Isla de Lobos on April 10, 1989, in position 21.30N, 97.05W during a voyage from Tampico to Progreso. (Marine News (WSS), June 1989, p. 358)
