History First enrollment issued at Detroit, MI, July 21, 1854.Vessel laid up at Detroit, MI, in 1857. Moved from Michigan Central docks to Springwells in 1861. Towed to Buffalo for dismantling, departing Detroit on May 23, 1863, in tow of tugs A.A. TURNER and JOHN PRINDIVILLE.
Disposition Towed to Buffalo, NY, from Detroit on May 23, 1863, where hull was dismantled and engine shipped to New York to be placed in ocean steamer PLYMOUTH ROCK. Hull towed to Port Huron, MI, in 1871 for conversion to floating dry dock by Fitzgerald & Leighton, shipbuilders.
