History Rig - Patrol CraftFirst documented in May/June, 1970, at Juneau, AK.
Commissioned on October 6, 1943. Served on escort patrol duty on East Coast, Caribbean, and Eniwetok, 1943-1945. Assigned to Navy Governors for the Trust Territories of the Marshall and Caroline Islands, 1945-1955. Decommissioned in February, 1955 and placed in reserve fleet in the Columbia River Group. Stricken from Navy Register on July 1, 1960 and sold out of service on May 20, 1961.

Construction contract originally awarded to Defoe Shipbuilding Co. (hull # 257), Bay City, MI.
Disposition Out of documentation sometime between 1990-1993.
