Cleveland, OH 1960-1961 Out of documentation, March, 1961. New official number issued on March 21, 1961. After end of SCHWAB and forward end of GULFPORT scrapped at Ashtabula, OH, in 1961. As PIERSON DAUGHTERS: Grounded on North Colban Island, in St. Lawrence River near Clayton, NY, November 22, 1975. Drydocked November 29 at Port Weller Dry Docks, Ltd. As PIERSON DAUGHTERS: Collided with the Yugoslavian freighter JABLANACA in the American Narrows on November 26, 1979, suffering only superficial damage to her hull. |
