Vessel History

Rebuilds Cut in two at Montreal, Quebec, in 1883 and rejoined at Union Dry Dock Co., Buffalo, NY, in 1883-1884.
Disposition Driven onto South shore of Isle Royale, Lake Superior, on November 7, 1885, and broke in two, the forward half sinking; 37 lives lost. Engine and boiler later recovered and placed in MANITOBA in 1889.
