Rebuilds Lengthened at Collingwood, Ontario, in 1910 (298.66 x 38.16 x 23.25; 2784 gross - 2349 registered).
History Also spelled ATHABASKA.Crossed Atlantic on own power; cut in two sections at Montreal, Quebec. Joined at Buffalo, NY.
In 1939 reduced to service as package freight only.
Sold in 1945 to American Machinery Corp., of Jacksonville, FL. But deal apparently fell through before she could be towed to Chicago for transit to Gulf of Mexico.
Disposition After lying idle at Port McNicoll, Ontario, sold to Steel Co. of Canada, Ltd., for scrapping at Hamilton, Ontario. Passed down, Port Colborne, May 27, 1947, in tow of tugs HELENA and TUPPER PORTER, bound for Hamilton, Ontario. Scrapped there in summer, 1948.
