History Built for Great Lakes-New York State Barge Canal trade.As ABOCOL: Ran aground at entrance to Cartagena, Spain, on November 17, 1973, inbound from Tampa, FL. Later refloated and arrived at New Orleans, LA, on February 24, 1974, where examination showed her to be a constructive total loss. Vessel was laid up.
Disposition Supplement No. 12, Lloyd's Register, 1976-1977, reports vessel was converted to a barge following her 1973 stranding.
