Used in MacMillan's Arctic Expedition, 1925. Also fitted out for Bramley's Bramley-Carter Expedition, clearing Long Beach, CA, for Guatamala on January 31, 1930, then to Panama and Miami. Passed upbound, Welland Canal, July 11, 1930, for use as survey boat by Corps of Engnieers Lake Survey. |

Departed Lawn, Newfoundland, on August 22, 1961, with cargo of 250 tons of bulk salted fish. Sprang a leak sixty miles west of St. Pierre Island and sank in three hours. Crew of eight rescued by British motor vessel FERGUS. |
