History As CANADIAN PIONEER: Reportedly lost power and ran aground in the Amherstburg Channel, Detroit River, about 7 a.m. on April 14. After four tugs failed to move her, she lightered part of her grain cargo into the E.J. NEWBERRY, and was released about 4 a.m., April 16, 1982. She then headed for the St. Lawrence River Shipyard with bottom damages.
Disposition No longer registered in Canada.
