History As CEDARBRANCH: Damaged by explosion, July 31, 1965, several miles below Montreal; 1 life lost. Refloated August 5, 1965, and taken to Sorel, P.Q., for repairs and lengthening.Sustained damage from ice on a voyage from Sarnia to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, on December 20, 1975. Underwent repairs at Canadian Vickers, Montreal, P.Q.
Disposition Sold to Gulmar, Inc.; arrived at Brownsville, TX, February 24, 1985 and scrapping began in March, 1985.
