Sunk at Nanticoke, Ontario, Lake Erie, for use as temporary breakwater during construction of harbor facilities in Summer, 1970. Raised later. Sunk again in summer 1974 as breakwater to protect marina facilities at Port Credit, Ontario; registry closed June 19, 1974.As WILLIAM E. COREY: Beached on Gull Island, Apostle Islands, Lake Superior, Novermber 28, 1905. Released and taken to Superior, WI, for repairs; $100,000 loss.
Stranded on Gros Cap Reef, Lake Superior, May 30, 1917; loss of $25,000.
Damaged on trip downbound across Lake Superior, from Two Harbors, MN, October 22-23, 1929; damage loss of $3500.
