History Sold in 1971, to Big D Line, Ltd., to tow tanker-barge ALFRED CYTACKI on St. Clair River-Detroit River service.Apparently converted to a three-masted schooner c.1981 at Toronto.
\"Tug/whatever EMPIRE SANDY\" damaged in fire at Toronto's Pier 6. The tug was evidently lying in a slip near a freight shed which caught fire on February 15, 1981. Pier 6 lies at the foot of York Street. (Scanner, March 1981, p 4)
