Rebuilds Canadian measures, 1930 (398.42 x 48.16 x 22; 3650 gross - 2921 registered).
History Final U.S. document surrendered at Cleveland, OH, on September 9, 1930.In collision with steamer A.F. HARVEY in fog on Lake Huron, about thirty miles from Detour, MI, May 17, 1928. Beached to prevent sinking; then released and taken to Conneaut, OH, for unloading.
Disposition Donated to City of Hamilton for museum. Berthed at Confederation Park, June 7, 1966, but became a political issue. Project failed for lack of funds. Resold to Strathearne Terminals, Ltd., and scrapped at Hamilton in winter, 1967-1968.
