Disposition Sunk by explosion on June 13, 1943, off coast of Greenland, in position 60.50N x 52.00W, while escorting convoy GS-24 from Narsarssuak, Greenland for St. John, Newfoundland. Of crew of 103, only two saved. Explosion believed caused either by mine or torpedo.
