History First enrollment issued at Detroit, MI, September 3, 1882.Name changed to PERE MARQUETTE 2, Port Huron, MI, on October 7, 1901. Final U.S. enrollment surrendered at Milwaukee, WI, February 21, 1906, and endorsed \"sold alien.\"
Disposition Outbound from Ashtabula, OH, for Toronto, Ontario, with coal, and in tow of tug HOME RULE, foundered 700 feet northeast of Ashtabula breakwater entrance, on July 15, 1919. Two lives lost.
