Vessel History

History Sold to U.S. Navy July 14, 1917; commissioned August 25, 1917. Decommissioned at Boston, MA, September 26, 1917 and converted to armed patrol craft. Recommissioned November 16, 1917; departed Philadelphia, PA, on December 15, 1917, with SC-314 in tow for French, and arrived at Ponta Delgada, Azores on January 22, 1918. Following repairs, which lasted until May, 1919, used as interisland transport in Azores. Departed for Boston, June 7, 1919; decommissioned there on July 15, 1919. In 1920 towed to Portsmouth Navy Yard, NH, for use as receiving ship for submarine crews. Sold there on December 20, 1921.
Disposition Sold Haitian in 1924.
