Vessel converted for use as floating dormitory; towed to St. Marys River for use in West Neebish Channel construction project. In 1932, towed to same use during digging of Livingstone Channel in Lower Detroit River.Struck underwater obstruction - an extension of the Chicago outer breakwall, when entering Chicago, January 14, 1917. Went to Manitowoc Dry Dock Co. for repairs.
During fog, collided with Carter H. Harrison water-intake crib, off Chicago, bow-on, during summer, 1922. Taken for repairs to Manitowoc Shipbuilding Co. |
Disposition

Vessel towed to Monroe, MI, 1938, then to Toledo, OH, where the Wabash Salvage Co. stripped the hull. Remains lay beside the Ash Street Bridge, Toledo, OH, for many years. |
