History As CRESCENT CITY: Driven ashore two miles east of Lester Park, Duluth, MN, Lake Superior, on November 28, 1905; no lives lost.As CARL W. MEYERS: In collision with tanker BLUE COMET, on December 13, 1950, at River Rouge, MI, spilling 84,000 gallons of gas into Detroit River. No lives lost.
Disposition Towed to Hamilton, Ont., in June 1959, for scrapping by Steel Co., of Canada, Ltd.
