Vessel History

History Arrived at Port Colborne, October 12, 1974, to be laid up for winter; awaiting scrapping; cleared St. Catharines for Quebec April 22, 1975, in tow of tugs SALVAGE MONARCH and HELEN M. MCALLISTER; Passed Cape Vincent April 24. Passed Quebec June 7, 1975, in tow of Polish tug JANTAR for European scrapping. Removed from documentation in November, 1974, as sold Canadian for scrapping. Arrived in tandem with KINSMAN VOYAGER, at Hamburg, Germany, on July 4, 1975. Both she and KINSMAN VOYAGER, were sold to Poul Christensen, of Nakskov, Denmark, for use as storage hulks. Laid up at Hamburg, Germany, pending this decision. Reportedly renamed PRAM while in use as storage hulk. Towed to Santander, Spain, where Recuperaciones Submarinas S.A. began scrapping her on April 1, 1979.
