History As NORTH: Burned near Lambton, Ontario, at Babys Point, St. Clair River, on November 8, 1867, bound from Montreal for Chicago. Hull and machinery later raised and rebuilt as propeller MARY WARD, in 1870.
Disposition Driven ashore between Thornbury and Collingwood, Ontario, Georgian Bay, on November 25, 1872; eight lives lost.
