Vessel History

History Cut in half by Buffalo Dry Dock Co. and taken to Atlantic Coast in 1917. Collided with barge SAGAMORE in Whitefish Bay, Lake Superior, on July 29, 1901, sinking the barge.
Stranded on Point Abbaye, Lake Superior, December 12, 1906, in blizzard. Released with $12,000 damages.
Stranded on reef seven-eighths of a mile southwest of Rock of Ages Light, Lake Superior, September 10, 1913. Released with $22,000 loss an taken to Sarnia, ON, for repairs.
Driven ashore at Port Frank, Ontario, Lake Huron, on November 9, 1913, in \"Big Storm.\"
Disposition Sold to Italian shipbreakers in December, 1924. Scrapped in Italy early in 1925.
