Got underway for Manus September 25, arriving October 3. Following day cleared for Saipan, arriving October 10. Cleared for Okinawa on October 13, arriving on October 18, 1945. Sailed for the Marianas on November 1, and operated in that island group until departing for Panama Canal on January 13, 1946. Transited Canal on February 20 and arrived at Norfolk, VA, on March 1, 1946. Decommissioned at Norfolk on March 22, 1946; returned to Maritime Commission on March 26 for layup in the James River; stricken from Navy Register on April 12, 1946. |
