History Commissioned on July 4, 1943. Assigned to naval reserve duty at Detroit, MI, in 1950's. Reclassified AGSS-225 on December 1, 1962.
Disposition Stricken from Navy List on June 30, 1967, for transfer to Museum of Transportation at East St. Louis, MO. Transaction fell through for lack of funding. Sold in 1970 to Arrow Wrecking Co., Dearborn, MI, for scrapping.
