Served on weather patrol duty out of Argentia, Newfoundland, July, 1945 - March, 1946. Decommissioned at Boston, MA, May 3, 1946.
Built as S2-S2-AQ1 class frigate under U.S. Maritime Commission contract.
Disposition Sold April 9, 1947, for scrapping.
