Rebuilds \"Jumboized\" by joining forward end of SCHWAB to after end of ocean tanker GULFPORT, at American Ship Building Co., Lorain, OH, in winter, 1960-1961 (664 x 60 x 27.75; 9428 gross - 7034 net). Received new pilot house winter 1976-1977. Structure fabricated at Port Weller and installed while vessel was tied up below Lock 1 in the Welland Canal.

Built, 1942, at Sparrows Point, MD, by Bethlehem-Sparrows Point Shipyards, Inc. (hull #4372).

Out of documentation, March, 1961.

As PIERSON DAUGHTERS: Grounded on North Colban Island, in St. Lawrence River near Clayton, NY, November 22, 1975. Drydocked November 29 at Port Weller Dry Docks, Ltd.
As PIERSON DAUGHTERS: Collided with the Yugoslavian freighter JABLANACA in the American Narrows on November 26, 1979, suffering only superficial damage to her hull.
Disposition Scrapped in 1995 at Port Maitland. (CHIPS, January 9, 1995)
