Vessel History

Disposition Sunk by collision with propeller NORTH STAR in fog, June 14, 1889, about sixty miles west of Whitefish Point, Lake Superior. Vessel was upbound light, and was struck just forward of her smokestack. She sank in eight minutes, and entire crew was rescued by NORTH STAR.
