History First enrollment issued at Detroit, MI, July 26, 1886.Caught fire and sank, September 8, 1902, off Clear Creek, Ontario, Lake Erie, bound from Duluth for Buffalo; no lives lost. Cargo consisted of flour, flaxseed, and copper. In 1904, Daniel H. Wilcox was given contract to recover cargo; succeeded in raising about sixty tons of copper. Vessel lying in eleven fathoms of water, and closer to Port Burwell, Ont., than to Erie, PA.
