History

Stranded in blizzard on Advance Reef, off Michael Bay, south coast of Manitoulin Island, Lake Huron, on December 7, 1927 with 200,000 bushels of wheat. Tug GENERAL took off crew on December 11. Surrendered to underwriters and released by Reid Wrecking Co., Ltd. on June 3, 1928. Taken to Collingwood, Ontario for repairs. |
Disposition

Sold through Commonwealth Metals, Ltd. to Spanish shipbreakers. Departed Quebec under tow, October 7, 1965, and arrived for scrapping at Bilbao, Spain, on November 26, 1965. |
