Grounded briefly on August 9, 1980, in the Manistee River, MI, without suffering any damage. Collided with the seawall at Grand Haven, MI, on April 21, 1986. Ran aground at Iles de la Madeleine in the Gulf of St. Lawrence on October 9, 2001, suffering no damage. Damaged hull while approaching dock at Stephensville, Newfoundland and Labrador, on May 6, 2004. Temporary repairs were made prior to loading and after delivering the load to Sept Isles, Quebec, it proceeded to Les Mechins, Quebec, for dry-docking to complete permanent repairs including a survey and inspection. Lost port anchor off Grand Entree Wharf, Iles de Madeleine, Quebec, on November 1, 2004. Suffered a 2’ x 3' hole in the lower forepeak tank with water intake near the forward bow thruster. After unloading and damage inspection, vessel proceeded to Hamilton, Ontario, for repairs, returning to service two days later. |
