Disposition Broke stern pipe during heavy sea, filled, and sank 10 mi. northeast of Point aux Barques, MI, Lake Huron, October 3, 1904. Crew rescued by steamer ANDREW CARNEGIE. Schooner consort IRON CLIFF sailed safely to Alpena. Vessels were upbound for Fort William, Ont., with cargo of coal at time of loss.
