History As CLEARWATER: Stranded at Pointe des Monts, P.Q., on Gulf of St. Lawrence, May 20, 1928, on voyage for Quebec from Anticosti Island with pulpwood, possibly on maiden voyage from England. Refloated in July, 1928, and declared a constructive total loss. Surrendered to underwriters, then repurchased, rebuilt, and renamed.
Disposition Cleared Toronto, Ont., under tow, for Lauzon, P.Q., April 25, 1966. Arrived at Bilbao, Spain, under tow, May 24, 1967, for scrapping by Cia. Espanola de Demolicion Nav.
