Rebuilds Readmeasured at Buffalo, NY, April 3, 1872 (212.25 x 32.33 x 12.33; 1142 gross - 1023 net). Reduced from package freight to bulk carrier, Detroit, MI, March 31, 1902 (221 x 32.33 x 11.66; 919 gross - 526 net).
History First enrollment issued at Cleveland, OH, on July, 27, 1870. Became unmanageable off Middle Island, Lake Huron, with schooner barges JOHN T. JOHNSON and JOHN KILDERHOUSE, in tow, November 29, 1904, bound from Cheboygan, MI, for Detroit with lumber. Stranded on reef off North Point, above Alpena, MI. Crews rescued by U.S. Life Saving Service; only KILDERHOUSE was released. Boiler and partial cargo salvaged from BLANCHARD. Final enrollment surrendered at Detroit, on December 31. 1904.
